COLGATE – NEEDS NEW STAFF

FUNCTIONS:
  • The licensee will ensure that they support Colgate’s standard reporting and data management processes. In conjunction, perform first-level analysis of reports for Colgate’s business functions at the global, divisional, and center (clusters of countries) levels.
  • The graduate must have effective written and oral communication with greedy parts of the business, internal IT partners, and external strategic business partners. Often, the incumbent must be an analytical thinker with the ability to work with large data sets, detail-driven, problem-solving, collaborative, and customer-oriented (proactive and responsive to stakeholder needs).
  • Create standard reports based on agreed SLAs and respond to ad hoc requests for top-tier reports and analytics.
  • Rest the setup of the market data harmonization process and business as usual in all countries and categories of PCs working with external strategic partners, as appropriate.
  • Manipulate market data validation processes and tools and investigate significant differences from what was previously reported.
  • Regularize with Divisions and subsidiaries as part of the investigation and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Assist with organizational change needs (eg training, communications, etc.), implementation and ongoing support of market data reporting tools and processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Intermediate Excel preparations (i.e. standard functions: aggregation, pivots, lookups, etc.)
  • Room for maintaining personal composure and tactfully handling difficult situations.
  • Practical insight into the consumer packaged goods industry.
  • Practice with third party data, i.e. syndicated market data, outlets, etc.

SENIOR ANALYST

FUNCTIONS:

  • Disburse and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization
  • Deploy end-to-end business solutions, from data mining to statistical modeling.
  • Learn vast amounts of data to uncover trends and patterns
  • Show knowledge in a way that is easy to decipher to commercial teams.
  • Scale visualization (tableau, data studio) using large data sets
  • Ready to engage in close collaboration with business partners in all geographies
  • Provide training to junior team members on upcoming solutions such as PnP, MMM, and foresight.
  • Express the findings of these analyzes to build strategic recommendations for pricing and promotion in line with the objective of the brand.
  • Pronounce prices, promotional relationships, and data in a visually clear and concise manner that is easy to understand.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Practice with third party data, i.e. syndicated market data, outlets, etc.
  • Discernment of automatic mastering techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their advantages / disadvantages in the real world.
  • Energy and ability to experiment with new tools and techniques.

TRANSPORTATION MANAGER

FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure that the most cost-effective mode and carrier selections are in place for all prominent finished product shipments, both customer and replenishment, as well as incoming products at each Hill’s manufacturing facility and distribution center.
  • Deploys SOPs for processes within your duty area (eg, soft pallet use, air bag use, carrier compliance tracking, mode utilization tracking).
  • Deploy and negotiate contracts, rates and accessories with Procurement for common carriers, transportation service providers, as well as lane fees and commitments (route guides) with contract carriers.
  • Leads third-party transportation providers through aggressive communication of all entry and exit requirements. Remedies issues and resolves issues as necessary. Negotiate rates and accessories with transportation providers.
  • Responds to the proper and accurate preparation of all legal shipping documentation (ie, bills of lading, manifests), for both domestic and international shipments. Controls the execution of the transfer of poor quality finished products and finished products damaged in transit.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree of training requested to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or related business field
  • Possess at least 03 years of experience in transportation or a related field.
  • State that you have experience in purchasing and negotiation and/or distribution
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong negotiation skills.
